one-way vs. return ticket when entering on K-1 visa

My Fiance now has his K-1 visa, and we're looking into getting flights booked. Having a search around, it seems that it's cheaper to get a return ticket than a one-way ticket. Are there any problems with getting a return ticket, and not using the return leg?

nope, it shouldn't be an issue... I would go with whatever is cheaper...

I got a return, and the second part is still valid for 1 year. i have to pay 100 euros to reschedule it, but I can do it even after the scheduled departure. I just don't know if I'll be able to because if you reschedule during high season they make you pay the difference. No problem if you end up not showing up for your return though.

I am all booked on 31st May (!) and bought a return ticket too as it was less than half price of a one way. I heard on here that the airline isnt worried at all about you returning or not
