i think so -

it depends on the routing, mostly.

if you are flying straight from manila to lax, for example, no worries.

the K-1 is visa isn't activated until you get into USA POE, but -

they'll check the visa stamp to get on the plane, in Phils. IMO - no worries, no problems.

Good Luck !!

I assume you already have a CFO stamp?

Moving to PI regional

As payxibka says, make sure you have the CFO stamp if you are flying out of the P.I. Minneapolis as your POE isn't too bad. Make sure you allow time for your connecting flight if you are flying elsewhere.

Here is the link to CFO.... http://www.cfo.gov.ph/fs_manila.htm

whoops - forgot about the CFO :( ya - since you are departing to USA from the Phils, you'll need that CFO stamp :(

Minneapolis? Check the routing, make sure yer not coming in from Canada ....

There are 'legs' in that flight - unless some long haul carrier is actually doing direct route from Manila to Minneapolis - my only concern is 'transit visa for Canada'

if you are routing 'Manila to Los Angeles to Minneapolis' - then no transit visa needed :D

I am not really sure, but since her flight is originating from the Philippines then it would be best that she checked with CFO to see if she needs the counseling and the stamp... I would hate to see her try to board her flight then they reject her because of her not having the stamp.....

The CFO is a waste of time..... I wish the new President will abolish that.

Hell, the whole Visa Process is a waste of time, Bunch of Bull$hit to get a fiance or spouse to the USA from Philippines
