my sister how r u sorry for the late answer dont worry or get upset u know my case stay at nvc for more than 2 monthes its okay no problem and it take 4 days max 6 days to put ur paper in the computer and it will finish as soon as they process ur documents dont worry and if ur case completed before the 10 of may u will get interview at jun i get another interview at jun hope every thing is okay with u if u needed any thing just ask

ok so i got a question< what do u mean by the mail room....cause it was signed for 2 days ago, so does this mean its there now, dont mean to sound dumb

Big companies and government offices use outside company to take care of the small stuff like mail processing. When you send a mail it gets delivered to a P.O. Box which is located at the post office. Company "XYZ" picks up the mail and they are the ones who sign for it, if it's a certified mail or something. Then company "XYZ" will sort the mail based on who it's going to or to the different departments, this is why putting the right "attention: department X or Mr. Name" is important. This mail now goes and sits in the "in box" of the person actually working on your case. He will then get to it when he gets to it, there isn't anything you can do about this, when he is done he will then leave a assessment for the contractor company "ABC" to input the data into the computer. This is how most places like IRS, USCIS, NVC, ect... handles the mail processing.

So, as you can see just because some signed for your letter it does not mean they are working on it.

hello everyone! well im almost at the end of this nvc journey god help me ,,, but i sent the correction that they wanted , over night shiped it and it was signed for 2 days ago, nowwwwww i need to know how long for them to put it in thier computer, going crazy here! its just 1 question we goofed up on and its not corrected and once they see it it is finished! so can anyone give me an idea on how long now,, my husbands so upset saying why nvc taking so long with this and that, he sees timelines where ppl made it through nvc in 3 weeks and such and we been stuck there for month and half which i still think its good time but my planes leaving mid may for egypt so anyone can give us idea of when the case would close, i need some kind of encouragemen here , so does my husband, thanks

I just sent my initial paperwork in and am wondering the same . How long does it take from postal acceptance to entrance in a computer. I kind of wish they had the online features that USCIS has. It would sure beat calling all the time. And you would be able to track touches!

hy sis thanjks for the encouragement, i called today and the avr says my package was recieved on april 27th which was 2 days ago thank god on that one and according to the mail service nvc recieved it on monday so they entered it tuesday ,, however,, when i called the operator she tells me oh its not on our pc and blh blh ... i told her what the avr said and she says well yes avr says this but it dont mean we have got it it just means its in our mail room??? anyways i will call and call and sign in and sign in tuiill i get victory either way, just want it t close by may 12th, its just one question that was wrong and now its fixed so it shouldnt be so difficult

Oh Good!! I´m so glad u r better now! No stress at all! Just to let u know, it took NVC to read an email we sent them last year, ONE MONTH TO READ MY EMAIL (well it was an RFE and I sent it to them) Incredible! I was really stressed out, I know exactly how u feel, I got "many white hair" because of this process, lol. Thank God we r done now and I´m home with my hubby. Try to relax, keep your mind busy, I also didn´t want to read this website, cause it was very painful to see many approvals, but mine. It has been very stressed out for me.

But u r doing so good, and I´m pretty sure u will get an Jun interview so... now work in scrapbooks, etc..

oh trust me sis i sign in that site 20 times plus a day now saying dear god pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee make a login fail heheheh i talked to nvc and many here on vj includeing you alsoo andrea and all are pointing at friday for a case complete,pry for me and i pray for you alll also!!!
