hi evryone...how long does it takes to check the case status in USCIS website??i sent my I129F on march 27,recieved march 29,NOA1 date march 30 and check cashed march 31..and until now evrytime i check my case status online at the USCIS websites,it says that my reciept# cannot be found at this time...should i be worried about this:(... can anyone enlighten me with this matter..just little bit frustrated..thanks in advance...

03/27/2010- I129f sent

03/29/2010- CSC recieved

03/30/2010- NOA1

03/31/2010- check cashed

04/02/2010- NOA1 hardcopy recieved

05/26/2010-touched and approved

05/27/2010-touched

05/28/2010-NOA2 hardcopy recieved...

06/01/2010- NVC recieved

06/03/2010- NVC Left according to the NVC REPRESENTATIVE....

06/07/2010- US.EMBASSY MANILA recieved

06/17/2010-Medical exam at St.Lukes

06/18/2010-Medical exam result (PASSED)

07/01/2010-INTERVIEW ..................

yup i have recieved a hard copy of my NOA1 at the same week as they recieve my packet..and i also called them after 15 days and asked why my reciept# not showing up into thier websites...they told me to allow it atleast 30 days...damn it close to 30 days but still not showing up...

you are typing the whole number with the WAC at the front right? Ours showed up almost immediately...right after I got the e-mail and txt it was on the USCIS site within a day or 2.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Good question to ask indeed.It is a 13digit receipt number.If you are sure you are typing in the correct receipt number and still see the same status,then you should give them a call and definitely find out.

Yep, this happens sometimes. You'll have to call for updates.

What can also happen is your number shows up in the system, but is then never updated again. We always showed as "pending", even though we were approved two years ago.

Due to an RFE we received, we had the opportunity to speak on the phone to someone in the service center. When asked why some updates were instantly reflected and why some never were, we were told that it all depends on if the person handling your case goes into the system to update the status. It's not something that is automated (or at least it wasn't at the time).
