Overstay on a b2 visa now AOS

Timeline

Tourists are not given SSN - no reason for that. Only students, J1s are given visas.

I came here on a b2 visa and i was given a social and i still use it till this day

What year? Rules have changed significantly after 9/11. No way that a tourist can now walk into a SSA office and get a SSN.

So you have been out of status since CY2000? Are you sure your SS# is still active, if so under what staus does the SS have you under?

i came here june 20,2000 on a B2 visa and i've always had my social and of course it's still active but it does say i'm not allowed to work which i don't. and what do you mean what status does my SS have me under?? all i know is i still have my social and i use it all the time
