I am sure this has been previously discussed but after some searching i haven't found answers.

If I am applying for more than one person:

do I write 1 check or 2?

do I submit documents such as birth certificates(to show relationship)for each application or only one copy to be used for both applications?

Do I send both applications in the same envelope?

thanks so much

Now that my husband is a citizen, we are preparting documents to apply to bring his parents here.

they will be filed separatly, so 2 packets in one. everything in 2 becaucse they are 2 separate petitions. one of each for them, so 2 i130, two checks, to birth certificates, 2 proofs of citizenship if you are born american, two marriage licenses for your parens. everything oomes in twos.

you can send one packet, but sepaarte each petition.

You will write two checks (separate check for each )

do I submit documents such as birth certificates(to show relationship)for each application or only one copy to be used for both applications?

During I-130 process you will send them copies of all the documents and you need to put copies in each set.

At the NVC stage you need to send ORIGINALS and you will put ORIGINAL on one applications and a copy on the other application and you will write on the copies as "ORIGINAL HELD ON CASE # ..........) and you need to write NVC case # on all the copies...

Do I send both applications in the same envelope?

Yes, you can send both applications in one envelope but each set is separated by a paper clip with all the documents tied together.

Hope this helps...Good Luck! Thanks, Raj
