Had CFO last 2007 so what i did as i get my visa i went to CFO office to get a sticker stamp on it..Oh it was a long long flight. I met some good people during my flight and they helped me a lot and guided me what to do next.

I wanna thank you Darnell for all the information you've given to me , thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Now we will start gathering all the info for AOS but first thing we are going to do for now is we will get my health insurance and my SSN and from there the AOS...

You can't get a SSN with a K-3 visa.

You can apply for EAD (only), then get SSN after have EAD in hand.

Ideally, though - filing AOS is much much better, even though is some money, at first.

Suggest you read this? Comparison on K-3 vs CR-1 - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/204324-wondering-if-i-made-a-mistake-marrying-in-us/page__view__findpost__p__3060767

Good Luck ! and Welcome to USA !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Ya, ok - but I gotta tell you - I asked you many questions, you not answer most of them. For the life of me, I have to think - 'WHY WOULD SHE DEIGN TO ANSWER?'

I guess, irrespective of what I told you, of any answers I gave you, yer visa paperwork wound through on it's on, some good karma ensued, and you were able to make a plane jump.

For me, really, is about a 2 month conversation that ended in 'no answers, evasion and utter disappointment' - but hei ! you made it over anyway, life should be good for you now, yes?

And besides I have to consult myself and especially my husband if this is right or not

This is where I get even more confused. Why to even ask the questions here, when you normally don't trust the answers?

Well some says k-3 does not exist at all...

Context. I've never seen anybody indicate the K3 doesn't exist. There are two of them in old passports here in my home. What is being indicated is they are no longer available to anybody whose case file has not already cleared NVC.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
Understanding the big picture is priceless. Anonymous
