It's OK to kill babies here in the USA so it's probably not a problem..

It's not OK to kill babies here in US

What you mean is FETUSES ;)

Eventhough abortion is legal here, it's still a SIN for other people.

But hey, we all have the right to choose/do what is the best solution to a problem.

So, back to the topic, immigration shouldn't and would'nt care if someone had/will have an abortion. Totally NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS.

I think your fiancee gave them the best answer. If there was no surgery for the abortion, then how would they know if it was a miscarriage or an abortion?

Yes I am the USC and I had no idea, but it does make sense with the catholic beliefs. There is no need to go into details on it and I know I'm not judging. I dont think there will be another question on it throughout your process. It is documented by St. Lukes that she had a miscarriage.....end of story.

Correct!she passed "End of story" kicking.gif .....

to the OP: Don't VOLUNTEER information but if asked be truthful. Good luck with the interview.

We don't know if the CO will bring it up on the interview or not but if it will happen, she needs to be prepared be able to explain the circumstances why she had a 'miscarriage' and stick to it. If she admits that she lied in her medical that may cause a delay in her application or will be denied of getting a visa as Consulates also observes the laws of the host country and abortion is a crime in Philippines and they are aware of that.

Im just curious, in Jamaica it is also illegal to have an abortion. So if the woman had an abortion and did not admit to it, at the medical would the doctor be able to tell during the physical? eaning does the doctor during the physical actually do a physical exam such as a gynecologist.

Wow, a real blunt view on abortion. Abortion is the right of an individual and is not to be judged/decided on by a collective of people (society, religion, etc). If you believe in God and additional rules fabricated for the benefit of 'Christian Extremists', then so be it. The world and it's people operate entirely with free will, not under the spell of ancient mythical scriptures (the Bible).

Interview Result : Disastrous.

Only realised on the day that a full birth certificate was needed. My passport was too damaged, in the opinion of the interviewing officer (although it wasn't really that damaged at all!). Was told I needed to supply an I-134, completed by my fiancee (even though the embassy guidance notes specifically advises that K-1 applicants do not have to do this). Was told that I needed to supply my fiancee's tax return paperwork for year ending 2008 (even though K-1 applicants are not advised of this at all prior to interview!)

It's OK for the USA to kill innocent civilians in an illegal and immoral war, but I see that you forgot to mention that.:bonk:

If you do not believe in God, then just say so but please do not denigrate our belief by saying that our Bible is a "mythical" scripture. You are in the Philippine Forum where a vast majority of us believe in God. Please respect our belief in the same way that we respect your view.

Questioning the existence of God is not 'getting personal' and offending people. Non-believers have nothing to prove. No single shred of evidence has ever proven the existence of God. It is scientifically impossible for God to exist. My faith is 100% in my friends and family, so I seek no other desperate outlet.

Questioning our faith is offensive to us believers. You don't have proof either that there is no God. There are thousands of miracle stories and after-death experiences that even scientists cannot explain.

You are an aethist and we are believers so let's just leave it at that and respect each other's view. Thank you.

i suggest you take that thesis to off topic, as it will only irritate regular posters within this forum. further posts similar in nature to the previous can only be interpreted to be
