Address Issue just before interview - HELP!

My fiance in scheduled for her interview on May 12 but I am worried about her address. She and her mother moved in with her step father when she was 7 years old. At this address she and her parents currently reside. This is the address where she gets mail and also the address that we listed on all of the immigration forms. (And where she recieved the packet to schedule the interview)

Problem is, her Russian passport, both hers and her mothers, lists the address they had before moving in with the step father. I guess they never bothered to change it with the government.

Anyway, she told me she is only able to get a police certificate using the addess on her official paperwork (the old one) so I am not sure how the consulate will react to this situation.

If it helps, both addresses are in the same city.

Please help with this question if you can. Thanks.

If the addresses are in the same city, there should not be a problem. Police certificates are issued for areas, not specific street addresses.

If the passport is still valid, then I don't see a problem. They won't be cross checking addresses at the interview, but will need police certs from the different places if that is a valid requirement.Make sure she knows your address though!!

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
