Hello,

My wife and I got married on the 27 of March. We have been waiting for some documents to finally send in the AOS package. Now, we got married w/in the 90 day period given to us by the K-1 visa. But, because of the proximity of our marriage to the expiration of the I-94, moving into a new place, waiting for the documents, and other stuff going on we haven't been able to send out the AOS package yet. Her I-94 expired on the 15th of this month.

I heard there is no exact time period given to file AOS after expiration of the I-94 but I understand that the sooner the better.

We are moving into our new apartment on the 7th of May and I was just going to send the AOS package then so I don't have to file address change forms after we submit the AOS package and plus the IRS transcripts probably will not arrive until then as well. Should I be worried at all?

Also, I heard this may affect her AP for travel?

What's another two+ weeks....

AP travel could be affected if you file the I-485 180 days or more beyond the expiry of the I-94
