Hi... I just received my I-485 interview letter today.. :D ... It asks for a photo id and the problem is, I have my old Utah state id (even though I'm residing in MN now) in my maiden name and so is my passport. I did update my SSN to have my married name, but I was wondering if I definitely need an id in my married name to take to the interview?

Also, I didn't receive my advance parole document yet, is this normal? If I get my GC it won't matter but should I ideally receive my AP before the interview?

Thanks so much and wish us luck...

My passport is in my maiden name, I haven't changed it yet. But I applied for the GC under my married name and I plan to ask them to issue it in my married name. I'm just taking my ID and the marriage cert, to show that we only got married recently. I think it should be okay, it was at Biometrics. They just wanted to see my ID and the marriage cert there.

I haven't received my AP or EAD either, and my interview is in a week. So I'm guessing they're just not going to bother issuing either of them because the time was so short between submitting the application and getting the interview date. ;)

Thanks... that helps a lot.... I was hoping to hear from someone who has gone through the interview with a photo id in their maiden name

and didn't have any problem. Anyone???
