What a great news...way to go for them..What are the things they brought in the medical?NVC letter stating the case no.Us embassy appointment letter that they sent once you called,NOA2?Is that it?

Hey Thanks folks! We are both pretty happy and relieved! St Luke was an ALL DAY affair yesterday for Wilma...from 4am - till 3pm.... She said St Lukes was busy after lunch too.. She was told her results this morning at 8 am....and was done about 2 hrs later. She's going to try and do her CFO Seminar at PRISM today...and not worry about the sticker till later after she gets her passport back, because she lives in Cebu, and we heard many bad stories about CFO CEBU. She can do the seminar at PRISM and get her sticker anytime after that.

She brought her NOA2 letter and Embassy appointment confirmation email to her medical. We never received an official letter from the embassy, just an email when I called for the appointment.

Yeah I remember..... DAMMMMMMMMMMNNN ......They still haven't received it!! You know another VJ'r had same time as us and they lost his file for about a month, "enroute" from USCIS to NVC, I think he got a congressman involved and his file magically appeared at USCIS and they kept telling him for weeks that it was at NVC. I hope that it doesn't take much longer for them to get your stuff straight. :blink:

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

yes I finally contacted my congressman today. A "special assistant" who was filipino made me fill out a casework form and then he said the congressman will contact me soon. I ask about how long he said, it shouldn't take too long. Now that I think about it. Im just wondering if maybe the reason why its getting delayed because I starte a new job on March 1, that required I do a security clearance and background check. Im a civilian employee working inside a navy base and im a federal employee. Maybe about 2 or 3 weeks ago I had an interview with the the federal agency asking questions about my last trip to the philippines and questions about my relatvies. maybe they are still doing a background check on that, thats why it hasn't been sent yet to NVC. Could that be a possibility?

Yeah, you'll get some movement soon. Congressmen have a way of making things happen with these cases. :thumbs:

You know, I wondered about the background check myself because I used to work in DC in the Pentagon and had White House clearance as well. I got delayed at NVC for two weeks for additional processing, I just often wondered if my federal background created a delay. :blush:

My fiance just passed the medical just now. She had her first day last monday but she needs to come back today because she had mens on her first day. Everything is good now though. Interview date is on April 26 @7am :)
