Since the what I officially made was below the poverty guidelines and the rest was paid under the table I will need a co-sponsor and my brother has agreed to help out, my question is will he only need to fill up a I-864 or will he also need to fill up a I-134 as well ? Also I only need to fill up a I-134 is that correct ?

For I-129's it should just be two I-134's.. One for you and one for your brother.. Be careful to make sure you fill them both out identically (except for the financial stuff). I've heard people get rejected during the interview if any information isn't consistent between the two forms.

I agree...at this stage of the K-1 process, teamster631 needs to provide two I-134s...his own and one from his co-sponsor.

He needs to send the I-134's to his fiancée, along with the necessary financial documents such as tax returns, tax transcripts, W-2's, 1099's, bank statements, and employer's letter.

After teamster631 and his fiancée get married, they will adjust her status, and that is the time when the I-864 comes into play.

Ok so I dont mean to be a pain in the #### but I just want to get this right, but I have heard conflicting answers, so since my bro is sponsoring will it be a I-134 or a I-864 ? what will it be ? I just want to be sure and not make any mistakes.

thanks

You should be fine with his I-134 dated March 15, 2010.

the reason why I am asking this question repeatedly is because of this:

http://www.fianceevisas.net/k1-faq.htm

look at question number 2

As a co-sponsor, your brother-in-law needs to provide an I-134 and also his 2009 tax return, 2009 tax transcript, W-2's, 1099's, recent pay stubs, bank statement, and employer letter.

Also, I read question #2 from your link. Their answer is misleading. The fact of the matter is that the U.S. Embassy Manila accepts co-sponsors for K-1 petitions on a case-by-case basis. Many here on VJ will attest to it. I have not read lately here on VJ about any K-1ers being turned down when using a co-sponsor. You may get more information about the subject if you start a new thread on it.

Keep in mind that your link is trying to sell you their services.
