Question 9:

I have a daughter who was born in VietNam (she is USC with US passport and CRBA) and she lives with my wife in VietNam (my wife is beneficiary). What should I do with question 9?

1. Don't check question 9, but write "none" on a. (this is what I am thinking, but not sure :))

2. ?????

I don't want to get an RFE for this question so please show me how you did this question without an RFE. Thanks a lot. :)

Question 9 is about your employment. Answer it truthfully. It has nothing at all do do with your child.

Maybe my question is not clear enough, so you misunderstood my question Pushbrk. :)

Because my daughter is an USC, so I think I don't need to list her name as family member immigrating as same time with my wife. That's why I don't know how to fill out question 9. Should I list her name in? or leave question 9 unmark and write down "none" on 9a? If I leave question 9 without doing anything, then I will receive an RFE for sure :).

PS- Question 9 on I-864 is about information of the immigrant you are sponsoring...not about my employment :)

Correct, your US citizen daughter would not be listed in Q 9. She not an immigrant. As the box for Q9 is left unchecked, nothing would be entered on line 9a.

She is counted in the household size.
