IS THERE ANY WAY TO START IMMIGRATION PROCESS PRIOR TO THE MARRIAGE, BEING THAT EVERYTHING TAKES SO MUCH TIME?

You could start gathering the paperwork, evidence of relationship, financial stuff, maybe even police certs- but the marriage certificate is required when filing the initial petition.

You can't start early...but I recommend you read everything you can on here in all the guides and start making a paper trail of the up coming wedding and after words. Save all the papers, documents and I am amusing the wedding will be in your wife's country so make a list of all the documents you need to get from her country and take it will you and after the wedding spend a day or two going to the different government offices and putting in the request for all those documents. Print out all the forms and take it with you and fill it out together there and make copies for both of you (this will save you money on mailing and time).

Make package for all the things you are going to send to USCIS, NVC, and take with you to the embassy. Make 3 copies of each package (1 for you, 1 for her and one that you are actually sending). Also print out all the possible interview question and go over it with her. One of the question might be what hotel was you honeymoon at? get the hotel bill and add it to the package do this for all the question.

Think of it this way...if you know that you are having exactly the same exam and as the exam giving out last year. Would you not find a student who took the class last year and use his exam as a study guide...well VJ is like that student that took the exam last year.

Sadly, I didn't find out about VJ until after I got married. :(

^^Agreed. You can start gathering your paperwork but the marriage certificate is a required document for the spousal petition.

^^ Agreed. You can go the fiance route but it is not exactly a quick process either.

There are no shortcut to this process, patience in abundance is required. Good luck.
