Hi! Good pm everyone! I have a question about our joint tax for removing my condition.Is there a poverty income that we have to meet? Please please help. Thank you so much and God bless!

Nope. There's no affidavit of support involved with removing of conditions, thus it has nothing to do with meeting any poverty lines.

Wife's I-130:

03/15/2019 NOA1 (Nebraska Service Center)

02/11/2020 Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

02/02/2021 NOA2 الحمد لله

02/04/2021 Approval email
02/12/2022 NVC documents submitted

Nope. There's no affidavit of support involved with removing of conditions, thus it has nothing to do with meeting any poverty lines.

So that means there's no income level that we have to meet? Low or high income it's ok as long as we're filing taxes?

There might be a waiver.... not sure though...

I can look more into it tomorrow and if I find anything, I can reply again...

Removing conditions deals primarily (if not only) with establishing grounds of a bonafide, real marriage. Although recommended, including tax transcripts is not a requirement. As far as immigration is concerned, the only time that not filing for taxes will haunt you is when you file for Citizenship (and please someone correct me if I'm wrong).

There might be a waiver.

The OP was asking about the possibility of filing the I-751 without having to pay the fee due to financial trouble, hence the poverty line. My answer was there might be such a thing....

To the OP, I found this website on USCIS that talks about filing fee waivers and you might want to read it and see if you can provide the document they request.
