Now if you are filling I-130, I-485, I-765 and the rest together, is it necessary 2 copies of some documents that are required (such as certified copy of marriage certificate, G-325a)? I mean since everything is going in one package why is it necessary to send 2 copies of the same thing. Way too many conflicting information on this site regarding this topic.

each document set must be complete. Sorry, that DOES mean that some of the paperwork you submit, and subsequent evidence as well, will be duplicates, in your eyes.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Every form will be reviewed by different person. So each of them needs to have what it says on the web site. As for me it makes sense a lot.

Just a heads-up, certified copies of marriage licenses are no longer required by USCIS, so you can just send in copies of that instead. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=ff053d146a7ee010VgnVCM1000000ecd190aRCRD&vgnextchannel=fe529c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

I cant remember how many copies total of the certified marriage certificate we sent off, BUT... when we were at the interview he looked at what certified copies he had of all our documents and gave me a certified marriage certificate back as he only needed one for his file. :) hehe!

Just remember, if you don't send off the certified copy in the mail, you will have to bring it to your interview!!!
