Does it really necessary to submit an Affidavits sworn to of people who have knowledge of your marriage and relationship? Should it be notarized?

Plan to submit my papers tomorrow but don't have one of this yet.

BTW, Do I need an immigration attorney to prepare the Affidavit?

It's not required, we didn't send one in. Kind of pointless if you have substantial evidence. Good luck!

No and no... affidavits are suggested and not required... if your evidence is good and you are confident about it, then you don't need affidavits. Also, if you decide to include them, then all you need is two people who are willing to write some good stuff about your and your marriage....

This info is from an immigration lawyer, who helped me. He said he never sends affidavits since they are considered weaker evidence. He also mentioned that if you want to just have some friends write a letter and have them sign it. I just drafted couple of letters and had the friends sign them, but this is not required. Hope this helps!

I say "never say never" but I wouldn't bother with affidavits unless your package is kind of weak to begin with. If you can cover the 3 cornerstones taxes, living together, and intermingling finances together, you should have no problems getting approved without any affidavits.
