Congrats! By the way you could ask them to print 2 checks right there. It cost 2 $ each.

I totally forgot about that because I know USCIS says that the Account holders name has to be on the blank checks, and the ones they gave us didnt so we just ordered some:blush:

Only took 3 days to get here too

Hey guys... received checks from BOA so we should be finalizin and re-checking to send off AOS :dance::dance:

GOOD LUCK.

Finishing up the I-130 to mail and then the I-485 after the DR appt. Just one bit of confusion here

14. your relative is currently in the U.S., complete the following: okay, his VISA says B1/B2 HIS 1-94 says B1

15. Arrival/Departure Record (I-94) Is this the printed number under DEPARTURE NUMBER His is like 123456789 00

Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on Form I-94 or I-95. Now there is a conflict on the I-94 after the stamped admitted date and the B1 (handwriten) there is a written date under that. His Visa has a printed expiration date which do I use because there is a BIG difference.

Also there is the FINs # writen on his visa and I-94 what is that?

Just don't want to put in the WRONG numbers.

Thank guys!

03/26/2010: Got married at the Masjid :P

04/19/2010: Finished with Civil Surgeon form

5/6/2010: Checks cashed! (Day 7)

5/10/2010 Hard copy NOA's on my son's b-day :)(Day 11)

5/15/2010 Biometrics letter (7-7), found out we are pregnant :)(Day 16)

5/26/2010 Biometrics walk-in done (Day 27)

6/21/2010 Interview Letter (Day 53)

07/13/10 - EAD Approved (Production notice)(Day 75)

14. B1 (whatever is written on I-94)

15. 11 digit number is his I-94 number

You have to use expiration date on I-94. In my case my visa expired before I-94.

Good luck!

Thanks Alla. His Visa expired 18 months after his I-94.

I asked about the number because there were 9 numbers and then a space followed by 2 more. Thanks again! I just finished the I-30, not time to make copies and triple check and mail out. :P

My wife and I sent our package out on March 28th (Chicago concurrent I-130 I-485), was received March 31st, but we have not yet received the return receipt. I know the NOA might take some time, and will come after the checks are cashed, but how long does getting the return receipt? It's strange.

According to other vjers, you should get NOAs within 10days but depend on location, it takes shorter or longer than 10 days. So let's hope that our journey will be as smooth as it should be.

Thanks. I understand that, but we requested a return receipt (physical proof that the package was sent) from the post office when we sent it out. I was just curious how long it should take to get that receipt from USPS, not the NOA from USCIS.
