Dec 2,2007 Traveled to Morocco and decided to stay
Jan 7,2008 Got married in Zaio
Mar 2,2008 Got my Moroccan residency
Oct 23,2008 Direct Consular filed at consulate
Oct 31,2008 Got interview call for Dec 22nd
Nov 11,2008 Medical exam done
Dec 22,2008 Interview and got approved
Dec 23,2008 Visa issued, thanks to God
Jan 20,2009 Flew home to Texas.
Jan 21,2009 Living and working in Los Fresnos, Texas
Oct 30,2010 Filed I-751 Lifting of Conditions
Nov 2, 2010 NOA1

I finally got my NOA2 Approved today! A Text & Email were sent to me this morning at 1am:

On March 31, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I think I can get everything submitted before I leave(May 25) to Egypt for my 10 week summer break I will be spending with my husband! Hopefully he can send me all the IV Packet information in 2 weeks, give 2 weeks for mailing(to the US) and by the beginning of May, send it off to the NVC.

Does anyone know the time frame for the Egypt Embassy interview after NVC approval?

Now I can actually feel like I'm doing something! It was difficult to just wait and wait and to not be able to do anything.

NVC 2010

Apr. 05 - Case No. Assigned & eMails Given to NVC Operator

Apr. 06 - DS3032 (VJ format)eMail sent

Apr. 08 - DS3032 Accepted & Invoice Bill(eMail)

Apr. 09 - Paid both AOS eBill & IV eBill

May 28 - Case Complete per AVR

July 15 - Interview Date, Cairo APPROVED!!

Jan. 27 - NOA1

Apr. 01 - NOA2 Approval(email/txt msg @ 1am)

Your I-130 was approved in 63 days from your NOA1 date.

Dec. 20 2009 - Married in Cairo, Egypt.

Wow! Congratulations on the NOA2!

What you should do now is wait about a week and call the NVC and give them yours and your SO email address so that way they can email everything to you! It's much quicker than snail mail!

Congrats!!!

Azzeddine arrives next Thursday... whoot whoot........I think !! I am nervous but excited toooo!!!!

moving into our own place right now... ugh I hating moving ...but it will be great to have our own place....(the puppy is hating all this change !!!)
