Let me get this straight. As the dim-witted Minority Whip sees it, Democrats are facing vandalism, assault, and harassment, and Democratic leaders want it to stop. But by urging responsible officials to denounce (and hopefully, discourage) misconduct, Dems are, Cantor believes, "dangerously fanning the flames."

Does Eric Cantor hear the words coming out of his mouth as he says them? Does he not realize how ridiculous he sounds? His message seemed to be: "If Dems just stayed quiet in the face of violence and intimidation, everything would be fine."

A few hours after accusing Democrats of "fanning the flames," Cantor was the featured guest on a conference call held by the "S.T.O.P. Obama Tyranny National Coalition."

By all appearances, Cantor isn't quite bright enough to appreciate the irony.

Armageddon didn't materialize. The sun keeps coming up every morning. Sky is still up and I have not yet come across any cracks in the crust of the earth. But perhaps we have a plug-pull count yet? I mean, it's been days. There must be pulled plugs all over the country. Oh, and my doctor still isn't on the government payroll. Should I turn him in? My insurance remains in effect, too. I check every day now just to make sure.

Almost forgot, will the death panels be on C-Span? Or is it going to be an American Idol voting type deal on FOX?

Armageddon didn't materialize. The sun keeps coming up every morning. Sky is still up and I have not yet come across any cracks in the crust of the earth. But perhaps we have a plug-pull count yet? It hasn't even been signed into law yet! And, despite press releases to the contrary, the soonest any of the provisions will go into effect will be six months, or more, if the volumes and volumes of regulations needed to implement this "comprehensive" plan are written and certified in time. Think of all the agencies that will have to be created and all the new forms to be printed, all the new positions that will have to be filled.

Perhaps that was Pelosi meant when she said a million and a half jobs will be created right away, once the bill is passed.

Give it time.

I could swear I saw it on TV. **, maybe it is Armageddon after all if they accomplish this kind of mindfuckery making me think that the health care reform legislation was signed. And not just me. The media was all over it. We're all fcuked. They tested how we would react and then they'll go and sign it later.

You got me. I was thinking the whole thing was a package, that the thing he signed earlier was flawed, and what he will sign tomorrow will perfect the thing he previously signed, although it was flawed, but tomorrow it will be all better.

The Reconciliation measure is peanuts. The signing of the law on Tuesday is the day that marked HCR. It must be or all these moronic attorney generals have experienced some sort of premature ejaculation filing the suits while the measure they're looking to sue over was still debated in Congress. So, it must have been the one signed on Tuesday. And as I said, Armageddon isn't materializing, plugs ain't pulled, no death panels on C-Span, doctors still work in their private practice, insurance companies flourish and the sun is coming up in the morning. Still in the East no less.
