Awww, sorry to hear all that you have to leave behind especially your precious kids. Hope they will be able to join you in no time!!!!

P.S. Can't you bring the dog over?

Good Luck!!!

Fingers Crossed!!!!

Good morning.

Mrs. Wife told me that your husband was on a J1 visa before. I told my boys that we will look for a way where they can get a J1 visa. This is the first time that we will be apart for a long time. I will worry a lot to them. Filipino mothers are so caring and protective. Can you give me some information about the program and where to apply? I am seeing hope that we can be still together in the US even in a different state.

I wish I can bring my dog with me. I have to look for someone who has a big heart to take care of her like a family member in case my boys can also go.

We only have one set of parent in this world. My father is 94, mother is 72. I feel sad to leave them also and not see them alive again. I fear calls from here about them.

There is no other place like home. I will surely miss my good life here. In the name of love, I need to sacrifice like my husband did when he left US for me.

I can't imagine how hard this must be for you, Lily! Stay strong. You're almost at the end of this road.

Like you said, your sons will always be your babies. I'm sure they can visit you from time to time.

Good luck!

When I fight, I fight like a tiger. I am strong willed woman and never a quitter. The hard experiences and struggles I went thru made me a stronger woman. What I did not learn to overcome is when my love ones are concerned.

My husband knows what I am going thru. He is supportive to me. He saw the love, care and generosity I gave to my boys and family. He felt how a filipina wife loves and cares her husband. He understands well my mixed emotions leaving many things behind and joining him for a lifetime journey.

Thank you for your moral support.

Hi, are you serious? she paid 30k? I thought 213 including everything?

when your friend had her medical? I might have my medical on tuesday.

You have to pay for every additional tests they require when they find something abnormal to the basic procedure they will do for $213. Their procedures are more expensive than the normal fees charged to patients. She paid P30K because her hemoglobin was low. She was given series of tests.

Try to be healthy on your exams. Be extra clean when collecting urine samples.

I heard one patient was referred to a dermatologist because her face was reddish from applying astringent. It cost her a lot.

There is no other place like home. I will surely miss my good life here. In the name of love, I need to sacrifice like my husband did when he left US for me.

Yes, hubby was here on a J1 but his work did everything for him so I am clueless on how to do it on our own. Actually something I wanted to find out also because he wants his sister & hubby to come live in US also. I will try to do some research & let you know if I found anything out.

Sorry to hear about all that. I know what you feel about the whole parents thing. My parents are old too, dad is 76 & mom 75. Is there other family members others then your boys taking care of them?

The things we do for love! Be brave & pray!

Here is a little bit of info on the J1 http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1267.html but yet I haven't looked through it.

Quick question, when you originally filed could you have filled for your boys too? Or being they are past 18, you can't anymore. Not sure how it all work.

When I fight, I fight like a tiger. I am strong willed woman and never a quitter. The hard experiences and struggles I went thru made me a stronger woman. What I did not learn to overcome is when my love ones are concerned.

Thank you for your moral support.

 As hard as it may be, remain even stronger!!!! I am happy you have your husbands shoulder to lean on in US that way you get some kind of comfort!!
