Hi everybody . happy Tuesday.(F)

We got Rfe last week, but we already sent it . How will i know if they got that papers?:help:

I-129F Sent : 05-07-08

I-129F NOA1 : 05-15-08

Touched : 06-26-08

NOA2 : 08/29/08

ApprovaL NVC sent:09/01/08

Arrived @ NCV :09/03/08

called NVC 09/04/08 received case #*

NOA2 hard copy in mail Sept. 6, 2008

LetteR from NVC: Sept. 8, 2008

Left NVC : Sept. 24, 2008 > Arrived Sept. 29th

Medical Oct. : 7/13/2008 passed!

Interview date: Oct. 20,2008 7am ***APPROVED***

Visa delivery : Oct. 23,2008

Arrival in USA : oCt. 29 ,2008 POE Houston, Tx.

Life is good !!

They should send you some sort of notice that they received them

AOS Process

May 29th 2008- AOS/EAD/I-130 Sent to Chicaogo Lock Box sent via Overnight Delivery

June 6th - Both checks cashed!!

June 25th - Biometrics appointment

Sept. 19th - Card Production Ordered! (113 days since filing)

Sept. 25th - EAD Received!!!

Dec. 5th 2008 - Received appointment letter

Feb. 4th 2009 - AOS Interview (Interviewer says going to recommend for approval)

May 15th- called and talked to an officer to submit a service request

June 10th- Made an infopass appointment,

June 15th- Info pass appointment, told me they could do nothing until the officer made their decision!

June 27 - Filed for I-131 as well as renewal of my work authorization.

July 23rd- Received I-131

Dec 22, 2009 - Biometrics appointment yet again.

January 21, 2010 Second interview

January 22nd - I-485 Touched

January 27th - Received a Request for additonal evidence.

May 27 I-485 Approved

June 13th 2010 - Green card received!

02/05/13 - 10 YEAR Green Card received

Naturalization (5 months 2 days or 155 days)

If you sent in some additional documents before you received the actual RFE, you may have issues, as they specifically mention you must attached the original RFE paper to your RFE response. I would think this is mainly so they easily add it back to your file, and restart the process, and as the RFE document has a bar code, it will allow for auto updates in the system. If for some reason they were unable match your response to your file/RFE,they could deny the application due to you not formally responding to the RFE as requested. I would keep a close eye on the web site for touches/update to be sure they received you response.

The only way I was able to determin they received my RFE response was a update on the USCIS site stating they received my response, and the case had continued processing. Do not expect for them to send you a notice via mail.

thank Ann Marie and Leo. I Guess i'll just have to wait . I do check the immigration site everyday. RFE freaks me out!
