May Have Lost Envelope? HELP!

I think I may have lost the envelope that comes in packet 3. The envelope you send the DS-230 and civil documents in? I'm not absolutely positive yet because I haven't gotten a real chance to look for it. My husband fed-exed the signed DS-230 Part I and his civil documents to me and I should be receiving it today. I would like to send everything to the NVC tommorrow. My question is...

If I can't find the envelope, would NVC accept a regular envelope with the appropriate address?

7/12/2008 Filed I-130.

3/1/2010 Initiated Payment of IV Processing Fee says "IN PROCESS".

3/9/2010 IV Processing Fee says "PAID".

3/23/2010 DS-230 and civil documents FedExed to NVC.(should arrive 10:30 3/24)

3/24/2010 DS-230 and civil docs received by NVC. Signed by K. StLaurent.

04/05/2010 Case complete @ NVC according to AVR. Sign In Failed.

5/12/2010 Hubby's Going to get Medical Exam done.

5/13/2010 Med Exam should be completed and picked up.

5/14/2010 Our son and I are meeting Hubby in Barbados.

05/18/2010 Interview date. :( No yes, but no no either!

05/25/2010 I DHL'ed the I-160 waiver, hardship letter, I-864, and supporting documents to Barbados Embassy.

05/27/2010 Requested Documents DELIVERED to US Embassy in Barbados.

--/--/---- Documents (I-601 Waiver and Hardship Letter) DELIVERED to Homeland Security in Santo Domingo.

--/--/---- I-601 APPROVED...hopefully.

--/--/---- I received the approval letter.

--/--/---- US Embassy in Barbados request passport be sent to send back with visa.

--/--/---- Hubby receives VISA

What envelope are you TALKING about?

There's nothing you need. Just wait till you receive the mail from your husband overnight it via Fedex or UPS to NVC. You just need the DS230 and the civil documents.

09/29/2009: I-130 NOA1
01/25/2010: I-130 NOA2
03/23/2010: Case completed.
05/12/2010: CR-1 interview at Mumbai, India.

03/26/2012: Biometrics completed.
12/07/2012: 10 year card production ordered.

The envelope that they send you with the IV bill to pay? Isn't that the envelope you use to send in the stuff? Maybe I'm going crazy because I've been thinking excessively about how our interview will pan out.

So I can just use a regular envelope? :hehe:

I have NO idea what envelope you could even possibly be referring to. So far we have received NOTHING from NVC.

Find a good strong envelope, maybe hot pink in color so that it stands out from the rest, and mail your stuff in.

I have never gotten anything from the NVC except the DS3032 (choice of agent) form. Nothing formal as far as a specific envelope. Could you be referring to the Cover Sheet that you need to send in with the DS230 packet? The one you print out off the payment portal? All you need is a barcoded coversheet when you send in the DS230 and dont forget original documents and a copy of everything needs to go with the packet :yes:

Yup, we used just a good ol' regular Fedex envelope.

Print out your barcoded cover sheet and put it on TOP of all the rest of the stuff and then mail it in.

Yeah that was my plan. The Fedex is just a 5 minute walk from my office at work. So I'll put everything together tonight and ship it away on my lunch break tomorrow.

So I'll be an official March 2010 filer tomorrow. :dance:
