Ok I have looked everywhere and cannot find what I'm looking for. I'm assembling my package to send out Tuesday and I wanted to know where do I place the check(payment) in the pkg? Can I just put the check in a separate envelope marked "payment" and use a paper clip to attach it to the front of my pkg or attach the envelope to the ACCO fastener on top? Thanks for any help!

We used a paper clip and attached it to the application itself... this way, they see it as the first thing in the package which should draw a smile to see that much money wasted on them.

As long as it is included - then you should be OK.

This is one of my favorite posts ever! :) Really??? Sometimes all common sense goes out the window when assembling these packets.

For the record, I DID NOT enclose the check in a separate envelope. I used paper clips to fasten the check in the lower right-hand side of the cover letter with 2 clips fastened on the right-hand long side of the paper and 2 additional clips on the bottom short side of the cover letter page. I took this approach because I did not want the potential for the top ACCO fasteners to damage the check. I felt it was imperative that the first thing they see when the processor opens the package is the payment. I felt the positioning of the check was instrumental in my approval since, of course, it was included in my package.

Come back and read your post again after your approval. You'll thank me and probably chuckle at your initial question.
