I remember last year, same time, they were very sporatic on emails and notifications..... I went 7 months before we got approved...... had to get the congressman involved and all......(even thought I don't think it helped).... and that was a for a K1 in Vermont.........

for years, Vermont was like lightning... later it was slow, had 3 speeds, slow,; slower and STOP! now it seems like CR1 is like molasses in California.

RFE : NONE

I-130 NOA 2 : 7/19/2010 (no touch's, no emails, no text notifications) Received Hard copy in mail 7/26 2010.

NVC Received : 8/02/2010

AOS Bill : 8/03/2010 ( Received Via Email after calling on 8/2/2010 )

Paid AOS Bill : 8/04/2010 ( Paid Invoice electronically )

AOS shown as paid : 8/05/2010

Mailed DS-3032 : 8/05/2010

Mailed I-864 pkg : 8/06/2010

NVC Receive i-864 : 8/09/2010

NVC Receive DS-3032 : 8/09/2010

IV Bill (available for pay): 8/20/2010

IV Bill Paid : 8/20/2010

IV Bill Shows Paid! : 8/23/2010 (just waitin for the docs from my wife now) should be here next week!

IV Package Sent Finally: 9/04/2010 (due to arrive 9/7)

Received checklist : 9/06/2010 (they are looking for the IV package) hmmm, ummm, I KNOW! So was I!

IV Package on AVR : 9/10/2010

Received Checklist 9/28/2010 (said PCC not in correct format)

Case Complete 10/13/2010 ( have not received replacement PCC from wife yet to send into NVC, How can this be?) I'm not complaining!

Interview 11/08/2010

PS As of 9/11/2010, USCIS website still not updated, shows NOA-1 date and... blah blah blah. don't count on them folks.

i really do not know why NVC is slow. maybe vacations and maybe their year end is september and they will get as many approed as possible in the next two months.

I honestly believe that USCIS has been working on April for at least a week, possibly 2. Maybe they fudge their numbers just like business's fudge theirs. Your an acct.....you know the drill...... you see it all the time I'm sure.

Kevin you received your AOS bill already. not to bad with that. how many steps are there until case is completed? does anyone know?

i see they like their money early but as far as them doing anything fast that is another story. i wish in my business i can collect ahead of time and take my time and not telling anyone what i am doing.

i am sure you are right because i believe like you that a lot are already approved they are just sending out a few here and there and i am sure april has been approved already but they just are sending what is necessary.

Kevin you received your AOS bill already. not to bad with that. how many steps are there until case is completed? does anyone know?

i see they like their money early but as far as them doing anything fast that is another story. i wish in my business i can collect ahead of time and take my time and not telling anyone what i am doing.

wouldn't that be a gift.........to be paid before the work is done.....????

as far as the NVC goes, I cannot complain. it is pretty much what I had expected based on previous posts. I am not quite as prepared as you are though....... the wifee is still holding the security cert's and I-230........ that will take 7 days from day she sends to get here, unless you have a quicker method...... maybe your wife can help mine with the I-230, she does not understand English at all......

i will ask my wife to help her. my wife is in uruguay right now so i don't know if she can help now or next week. she has access to a computer but i will ask her.

I have a few friends in Brazil, 2 or 3 in Fortaleza. I mentioned to her last night to take the form in to them and just fill it out..... most of it is simple stuff..... then she can go back online and fill it out and print it. so hopefully she did that..... She is getting excited now.... and probably when she got the email from NVC and it was all in English, she's probably freaking out...... but thats ok....... as long as I get the papers I need, she's gonna be fine.

Maybe we'll get ours on the same date since we have very similar NOA1. I'm glad I'm not the only one freaking out and stressing out over this....its nice to be able to vent to others who are going through the same thing.

All we want to do is live with our spouses :crying:

2010-03-27: I-130 sent

2010-09-23: NOA2

NVC: (93 days)

2010-10-06: NVC Case Number assigned

2011-01-05: SIF and Case Completion!

2011-02-15: Medical in Toronto

2011-03-07: Interview approved (335 days from NOA1)

2011-03-10: Passport received

2011-03-19: POE - Buffalo, NY

2011-03-28: SSN received

2011-03-31: USCIS Welcome

2011-04-05: Conditional Green Card received

2012-11-30: Notice to file I-751 received

2012-12-12: I-751 (Remove of Conditions) sent

2013-08-16: Conditions removed. 10 year Permanent Resident Card received
