I think that's a bargain compared to what we paid. Hubby came in the summer though so maybe that had something to do with it and also we booked a flight right away so that added to the price. I believe what we paid was over 1000. Did you look around for any other options?

sounds like a lot to me, i paid 1840 for a round trip ticket for me and my son.. it was less than 30 days ahead of time, and in the holiday peak season, so that added to it...but it's still a good price compared to what we were seeing in the upper 2 and 3 thousands.

I use Continents Travel Agency when i travel, they have lower prices for us, last time i think it was lil over 1000 when i traveled in june 2005 and that was also round trip with a 6 month open ended ticket...

that was PIA though...

Which is the best airline travelling to usa and plus is buying one way ticket cheap or return. With return u can refund the money plus might some says its cheaper than one way. is it?

my ticket on PIA was 1900.00

so - if you see a ticket cheaper get it...

our friends (Shahabs wife) here are on appeal still, they got a lawyer because the people who did the field investigation, did not really investigate they just wrote a bunch of ####### down , without getting the facts, INS is getting hit with the facts now.

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

A quicky on my sister-in-law's interview. They told her that once we submit the I864 to NVC then they will issue her visa. What she said was that they needed the sponsor's birth certificate sent to NVC but I think they mean the I864. They told her to check back in 1 month and 20 days. Yahhoooo!

Thanks for the support Mary! I had a quick question: In the part of the I864 where it asks for Sponsor's info, do I put my brother's information if the joint sponsor is filling it out? Or do I approach the questions as if they are being directed solely to the joint sponsor even though they say "sponsor"?
