Self Employed & I-864

I just started my own business as of Jan. 4, 2010. I'm a 50% partner in a LLC. I don't have a set income and not sure what I'll make this year. What should I say is my yearly income?

I also cannot send the last 3 years tax returns as I was living in Thailand for 2007 and made zero income. But I can send 2008 and 2009 where I made over the poverty line. Would this be sufficient? I also was thinking about sending a copy of my business registration/papers to use as an asset? Any ideas?

If Im correct, only transcripts and returns for the most recent year is REQUIRED, all other transcripts are supporting evidence... DO include a letter explaining your self-employment and reg papers also...

Are you filing the I-864 soonish?

Talk with yer cpa, have him prepare an 'audited' income/assets statement for YOU (not the company) for FY 2010, from Jan 1 to current. Make sure his 'seal' is on it, or a short paragraph of attestation.

The income tax thing is a catch-22 -

for 2007 - most ppl with 0 usa income, but overseas income, will learn about back-filing that return. You aren't taxed on the first 85K, IIRC.
