civil surgeons in south florida

My husband and I are about to send our packet for AOS. Do you know of a civil surgeon in South Florida who do not charge hundreds of bucks just to complete or transcribe the I-693 form? I tried calling almost 15 from the list but the fees range from $150-400!!! Grabe naman! Pati pala dito America negosyante din mga doktor! Hahah!

it sounds like they want to give you the entire medical, not just transcribe the ds-3025 over to the i-693a. did you make sure they understand that is all you want?

It may be a good idea to go to one, in person, with the I-693 and it's instructions from the USCIS website. K1ers are apparently a very small cross section of immigrants seeking CS services, and the vast majority of the immigrants they see apparently DO need a full medical exam, so they may simply not know, offhand, what you are talking about.

They are unlikely to be convinced by a weird-sounding story over the phone, but may be more amenable to negotiation in person with documentation in black-and-white for them to see.

Hey there. Just found one in Lake Worth that will charge 65$ for the transcription. Cheapest I've found so far and I've called over 50 civil surgeons at this point between West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale. His name is Dr. Peter Lemelos. 561-963-9881

Well, I paid $150 for the whole exam+all vaccines+the form filled - Miami, FL - Promed: 305-220-9700.

I recommend this place, specially if you speak Spanish.

Thanks for your replies! I went to this civil surgeon in Boynton, and although she was only charging $60 for the transcription she didn't sign the Part 5 of the form because she says she did not examine me. All she did was transferred the vaccine records in Part 2, placed it on the sealed envelop and noted on file with her initials on it! I insisted that she sign the Part 5 but she said it is not important because all the USCIS needs is a complete record of the vaccine for K1 applicants...

Holy smokes. Please let me know if her not signing it causes you a problem. I am also in Boynton and am going to a Dr. on Gateway near Congress that I mentioned in a post above. Supposedly they are supposed to sign Part 5. Keep me posted if you don't mind.

Sure no prob! I guess its that clinic on that area, express medical clinic or something like that. I did insist that she sign it because that is what I need to send, but she said she transcribed the record herself and that she really cannot sign the part 5 because it would be a false certification. Anyway, just to be sure, I attached a copy of my DS 2053 along with it so that USCIS can clearly see that all my vaccines are complete.
