The Bills beat the Colts because the Colts were resting up to win the Super Bowl.

True, but the Pats weren't and managed only 17-10 win in week 15. For a playoff bound team that's unacceptable. The Saints won 27-7 and the score was 10-7 until the 4th quarter when the defence got tired. If the Bills' owner, cheapskate Ralph Wilson, would cough up the cash for quality offensive lineman the Bills would probably win the AFC East. The Pats have a devil of a time dealing with the Bills as do most teams in the AFC, the Bills just don't have the offensive lineman.

The Pats didn't go too far in the playoffs either. The Bills are supposed to be good every year but the same thing happens time after time. Is TO crying to get out of there yet?

Ralph Wilson is around 90, he doesn't care anymore. I think those four Superbowls took it out of him. He won't move the team while he's alive. Once he's dead, the Bills will probably end up in LA or Toronto. Wilson used to be part owner of the Lions when Bobby Layne was starting QB. The Bills need veteran offensive lineman but they don't come cheap. The QB? Edwards is fine if he doesn't get killed. Lynch and Jackson are fine RBs but if there are no holes to run through, where do they go? TO still has game, but on short routes he's going to be stuck in coverage. If the air game opens up then he'll get his touches. The Bills have no offence.

TO is a malcontent, IMHO, and another losing season will have him back to his finger pointing, disrupting ways.

Morten Andersen still holds quite a few NFL records, include most field goals and most games played....he was a great kicker. Never made it to the SB.

I hate to nitpick but Andersen kicked the winning field goal in the 1998 NFC Championship Game that took the Falcons ("dirty birds") to the Super Bowl. He wasn't with the Saints by that time and the Falcons lost SB XXXIII to the Broncos but still he did kick two field goals in the game.

The Saints came to play, and were absolutely amazing. No doubt! The onside kick to open the second half, and domination of the 2nd quarter will go down as legendary in Super Bowl history. They both entered the game as seemingly unstoppable forces, the Colts even more so perhaps than the Saints. Two incredible teams.

The Saints ain't the Aints no more neaux meaux!
