LOL! You make me laugh! I love the little Ben idea :) Too cute.

I can't drink wine anymore. Too many drunken escapades with it in high school.

OK, Goober Grape...your kids will love it!!! It is peanut butter & grape jelly all in the same jar. They do it in stripes. Yummy! I think there is Goober Strawberry as well, but I wouldn't like that.

Hope you have a great time at your hen party! I won't be having my bachlorette for a little while yet.

10 more days for Ken! Whooooot!!! So happy for you two.

I am enjoying my American Boy very much this w/e. I get an extra day with him Mon as I got our holiday off work :)

Poacher...hope all is well now that you are back & hope Vika is settling in alright. Lot's of adjustment. Vaccuums included. How are you healing anyways?

ohhhh Tilda (our 4 year old) would love that stuff. She loves peanut butter and in the UK eats it with jam..lol..I told her about it and she would like to try it...ugh I think you just created a new fave sandwhich spread for her lol....knowing her she will just eat it out the jar. Yayyy for you guys getting an extra day together....wooo hoooooo ;)

lol I dont drink cider for the same reason as you...I also had a bad experience with wine at one point and have only just started drinking it again....lol....resulting in my head in our sons potty lol....lovely vision there for you right lol?

I hope that you guys enjoy the rest of the weekend....Tilda is having lots of fun bouncing around on a sheet of bubble wrap....how much fun can a child have with bubble wrap???

Answer.....tonz so it seems......right, Im cancelling Santa this year and calling the bubble wrap company instead, to deliver lots of sheets for her...lol...would be cheaper me tinks!!

UK- Come on, the UK is the only place that to me eats even worse than the average American, look at it like as a healthy experience, where brown sauce isn't required on everything. innocent.gif RE: 'chips,' look for 'steak fries' to make them at home.

Chocolates - try Ghirardelli, Cadbury, or Dove; you should like one of those probably.

English Muffins - find a real bakery, or you could try a bread maker. I know it won't help much for crumpets/other funny Brit muffin-like things, but it should help. A good bakery will have a pretty good selection.

Mailed K1: Fedex to VSC Feb 19, 2010

NOA1: Feb 22

NOA2: May 17 (84 days, no touches, both SMS and email notice received a day later)

Rcvd at NVC: May 19

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Packet 4 received: June 16 (emailed appointment date June 11)

we have indeedy already bought a bread machine...Ken got me it so we plan on having a go at making our own things. I will try to make some crumpets too. We will def seek out a good bakery, thank you for your advice. Im sure I will find new things out there that I love.....I cant wait to get back and have a damn good steak!! Thats something the US are bloody great at doing....I miss the pop tarts too lol.

Thanks again :)

Hope your lovely lady is settling in well after moving the house around :)

Damn, you should definitely contact your local congressman's immigration specialist and ask them to look into your case.. that's wayyyy too long of a wait! As for the donkey, well.. he's just a lucky charm, you might do well to keep him by your side until you get your NOA2.

Vanessa, ok, the donkey do a lot of tricks to help with the process, he dance, sing, drink and other really good but nasty things that i dont want to mention... the midget is like his pimp... but he drinks soooo much he can be very rude, thats why i dont like him, he makes things slow sometimes if you dont give him his booz...

I dont and cant eat chocolates :( do to my skin (looks i am allergic to it, because the doctor ask me not to eat it, i really am not into sweets much so thats ok) but any italian, french and swiss chocolate is great, at least i know...

Dont know anything of muffins couse we dont have it here, i know what they are, but here are not popular...

Ey, and i didn't said, i had the greatest dream, i met Chris Isaac, he is old now, no? lol... funny but great dream, i love him... he gave me a hug and was singing, and talk to me a bit, in my dream he was learning italian and i try to speak to him in italian, but i dont speak it, so i wasnt that good, lol...

My poor Honey is dealing with a crazy, crazy girlfriend...

Wow, what happened to my batchelor life? No more stripper poles, midgets, donkeys, plastic swimming pools. I'm missing the single life. I am learning a lot of curses in Russian.LOL. I did lose my walkin closet. She said that it is "her room." I am allowed to use one of the closets in another room. Lucky me. The bathrobe did make the trip but it stays in her closet. Thank god. I did put my foot down on three closets. One full of ammunition, one for fishing, and one for hunting clothes. Small victory I guess.

She was happy to kick me out of the house to go to work. Veka is adjusting well and really likes my ex-wife, her husband, and my sons. My ex and Veka are having fun at my expense. I am whipped, obviously. Veka does have her work cut out for her, to whip me into shape.

For those still waiting, I feel for you. Start by sending dirty pics to VSC, consulates, etc. Incorporate srtipper poles, garden tools, alcohol, midgets, donkeys, thongs, and things purchased at adult fun stores. It is how we roll.

This weekend I will introduce her to hunt camp, guns, and 4 wheelers. Next weekend is the lake.

UK, Leslie, and Solmarc. You are getting closer.

SandT, I know you are busy, but I'm sure we are experiencing some of the same comments about the shopping here. Definitely different then the FSU.

I like Veka and i dont know her, lol... i am going with the same idea about the closet, he gave me some space and already has his tides there... there are five closets and they are full of his things, no space for me :( ohhh wait until i move...lol

I did a gogo dance, used a tong and dance a merengue in front of my embassy... oh and the donkey did things that, well lets say i shouldn't mention... and it work... lots of beers, our presidente brand, but i think that works depending of the embassy...

Rub the midgets belly, it works too... but you have to keep the alcohol running, if not he is not going to be happy...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to finally say HI!

I have yet to post anything on these forums. You all may know my better half as 'Paul and Vanessa'. He's a frequent poster on VJ.

Wanted to say congratulations :) to all of you who have received your interview dates. We are still very patiently waiting for our NOA2. 5 months and 7 days...... :(

Any advice or tips you guys can give us would be great!

I do have one question though......what's the deal with the Donkey??? lol ;)

OK.

Just got a call from my Congresswoman's office. They are officially going to be looking into and seeing what the hell is going on!

So here's hoping!!!!!!

5 months isn't really all that bad. Ours took about 4.5 months and that was about the norm.
