Has anyone been in this situation nor know what to do?

I had no vaccination records during my visa medical exam, so the doctor gave me all the shots appropriate for my age. We got my visa a few weeks later. For a reason I don't want to post here (hope it's OK - you can PM me), we couldn't complete the vaccinations when we arrived in the US. But now I can and I intend to. Will it be okay to be pick up where I left off with the shots? I have the full instructions from the doctor. Or do I need to start over? Will this cause complications later when we file for removal of the conditional status of my green card?

You can usually pick up where you left off. Just go down to your community health clinic and ask them. They do more immunizations than anybody else, and have a fact sheet for every immunization from the CDC.

You don't really have to get the shots now that you are here. Of course it is a good idea, but not legally required. Most Americans rarely get immunizations after they reach adult age unless they are in the military, a health care profession or going overseas. Some people do get an annual flu shot, but thats about it for most of us.

I don't even get the flu shot.

We did K1 and the shots were not required to come to USA, but they were required for AOS. My husband got some shots there, including the first dose of MMR and Varicella, and he got the second and final dose of the shots here, no problem. We just showed the paperwork at our local community health clinic (cheaper) and they gave what was required, then we showed that papework to the civil surgeon and he filled in the paperwork.

Go see a USCIS civil designated surgeon. They will tell you want shots you need.If it's been less than one year since your medical you don't need a full medical.

Make sure you have records of your shots you took. When you file AOS, they will require you to get immunizations and if you had them already, then you are good to go.

Once you started the vaccination regiment, USCIS assumes that you will continue. To the point, you don't have to do anything anymore and nobody gives a hoot about this.

I'm deeply disturbed that they pumped you full of those illnesses without even checking what antibodies you have in your bloodstream. A butcher, no doubt. I only hope I never get ill in Thailand . . .

Thank you everyone! I will check with my physician and will also look for USCIS-approved doctor. By the way, I am CR-1. I'll be filing for removal of conditions. I thought this was the right forum to post the question in!

I am a bit confused. Do you have a CR-1 Green Card? If so, I don't know why you need the immunizations?
