Wow! No April Fools Day for many of the February 2010 CSC filers.

That is fantastic!

If you consider the last 2 days that is 5 total (Shawn & Emi , Loree and Mond, Wishing, haze & ced & SunDrop)

See haze & ced, my hopefully soon occurred the morning of your approval (I must be psychic).

Can you be psychic for me and Ryan and let me know when we will be getting our NOA2. Ryan is leaving to go back to England on Wednesday and I need some good news soon!

I've been watching this site since before I sent my I12F package last 2/5. Received mail NOA1 on 2/8; touched 2/10. Well, I was waiting patiently while seeing other people got their NOA2s on time frame which I received my NOA1. I checked this morning, hadnt been touch, no news yet. I've been checking almost 4 times a day. Suddenly when I got home, I have a text msg telling me that my case has beed updated. Checked online, it was in post activity decision. Finally, got an email, WOW!! GOT APPROVED!! Thank you GOD!!.. it was approved and mailed today 4/5/2010. Thanks everyone11

So, what is the next step? Do I have to wait or cal NVC for the MNL# so I can provide my fiancee the MNL# so she can go to St. Lukes without the form? I am planning to go to her interview end of May. Is it advisable to go with her interview? When my fiancee has the letter, I know that she has to call the Embassy. Does she have any options for any appt interview date or the embassy will assign an interview date? BTW, it's Manila Embassy.... thanks a lot for everyone

Hello All February 2010 CSC Filers. I know it is a little early, but I have seen on some timelines not in this thread, when NVC received an approved petition by the time NOA2 was received in the mail. There were many people approved in the past week. I would like to know when your petition arrives at NVC.

I have called NVC's automated line, gone through the options for dialing the answers and gotten the response of NO, they do not have my case yet. I have done this three times. I have not requested to speak to a live person as I do not want to wait and it has only been ONE week. Still, I wish the petition was there.

Please let me know. The NVC telephone number is: 1-603-334-0700.

Thanks.

My fiance tried to call that number multiple times yesterday...always busy signal. Is everyone getting this, do you just need to try, try again?

And I just managed to get through to NVC...

So the operator told me they received our approved I-129F petition yesterday April 5th. Yay! :innocent:

Not able to give me timeframe for when it will be sent out. But did confirm our phone numbers and emails and said we would be contacted when the petition is sent to the consulate.

Okay, so you can call the NVC and get a case number already? Is it going to be the same one that the embassy gives you? Because I think we need that for the medical examination and to pay the visa fee. I really hope that’s the case because I want to try and slip through and pay the lower fee before it jumps up to the 400ish dollar one.

Also, just skimming through an example packet 3 from the Seoul embassy, I noticed a couple of the forms asked for an address in the states in which my future wife will be living at. On the petition we put my parents address for the main one, and on the rest of the blocks, we put the Air force base and in parentheses we put "will be determined after PCS", you think the embassy will have a problem if she interviews and doesn’t have the address on her forms where she will be living in the united states?

I don’t PCS back to the states until the end of may and I hoped to have her interview before I leave, even if I do leave its going to take me about 2 weeks to get to Alaska and then probably another 3 weeks after that to even get a permanent address, which would really really suck for us if we had to wait that long….

Hi!

Yes I got a case number through NVC...now said that the application should go to Montreal Consulate within a few days likely. I have not idea if this is the same number the consulate will give me...

Congratulations everyone! The number the NVC sends/gives you should be the same one your embassy will have assigned to your case. Richard hasn't received packet 3 yet, but he's calling the consulate anyway right now to see about getting an appointment. Can't hurt, and he's got all the forms he needs already online. Will let you guys know how it goes.
