Chavez: US "Tetonic Weapon" caused Haiti Quake

A 'tectonic weapon' under testing by the United States caused the Haiti earthquake, according to Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, who appears to have more of a sci-fi background than we all thought.

"President Chavez said the US was 'playing God' by testing devices capable of creating eco-type catastrophes, the Spanish newspaper ABC quoted him as saying.

"Chavez said the killer earthquake followed a test of 'weapon of earthquakes' just offshore from Haiti. He did not elaborate on the source of his claim," according to Press TV.

Apparently, the media in Venezuela have reported that the earthquake "may be associated with the project called HAARP, a system that can generate violent and unexpected changes in climate."

HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, is a study run in Alaska directed at the occasional reconfiguration of the properties of the Earth's ionosphere to improve satellite communications. The project receives funding from the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency).

Fans of the LucasArts game Fracture (perhaps Hugo Chavez among them) may recall weaponry like Tectonic Grenades that create "terrain deformation" as a part of game play

A tetonic weapon? Isn't that a mountain range in Wyoming?

Can't argue with Hugo and no sense in even trying. More interested in that his own military will kick him out, but with Latin America, could be far worse. Can only wait and see what happens. We are trying our best to liquidate our assets in that country, but don't even know why, will have a dog of a time getting our money out of there.

Parts of Venezuela are in a major fault area, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/09/12/v...t_n_284733.html. Caracas itself was leveled in 1812, and even has experienced the effects of earthquakes from nearby communities in recent years. Supposed we will be blamed for that too. Maybe an earthquake will take care of Chavez.

I still smile when I remember how Bush was to blame for the hurricane Katrina. Not the after effects but the hurricane itself.

I don't recall anyone blaming Bush for Katrina, but he was blamed for not acting on it. I can't blame him either, he never heard of New Orleans.

I told you that the Halliburton hurricane machine has an earthquake setting.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

There were people in New Orleans claiming to have heard explosions near the dikes thereby proving that Bush wanted to flood predominately black neighborhoods.

I still like the one where on TV they were interviewing a refugee here in Houston from Katrina and the talking head asked her jokingly when she said she blamed Bush, "you don't think Bush caused Katrina do you?" She honestly said, "you don't know he didn't."
