I will be mailing my packet today. I have read the several million threads on this topic and thank god for VJ and its members!.

I am little worried about the evidence part - esp the bill and affidavit part. Heres a round-up of the docs in the package

Mortgage contract showing joint ownership of real property.

Previous lease agreements showing joint residency.

Proof of joint checking account.

Joint federal and state tax returns for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Insurance policies showing spousal beneficiary

Joint bills (only 4)

Vehicle purchase contract showing joint ownership.

Proof of auto insurance showing joint coverage.

Proof of joint sponsorship of visitor visas for Applicant’s parents.

Documentation demonstrating joint trip to India.

Sworn affidavit(Only 1)

Photographs of ourselves taken on trips and events during the conditional residency period.(about 40)

Should I wait to include some more docs(finding bills/asking more people for affidavits)? My 90 days period begins today, so I am eager to send all that I have, rather than wait. Any thoughts?

I would say 1-2 weeks from the day you sent your package. It took 8 days for mine to show up. However, some people never get an NOA and get the biometrics appointment as their first notification.

When it comes to USCIS, all questions are fair game. There is so much uncertainty and inconsistency.

I would say expect it by the end of next week, so sometimes around Feb 19th.

Thank you Goldfee111. I decided to add a few more bills - ended up adding more than 15:). SO I think I am good on the the bills part. I still only have one affidavit. Since the filing instructions (specifically) asks for at least two, I might pass on this.

I still haven't mailed the packet - def. today. Wifey thinks it should reach them well in to the 90-day period. It's tough to argue with a lawyer :P.

Good luck to every one of us.tc.

Huge sigh of relief.... Apparently Vermont received my package today. Very interesting since according to USPS tracking it hasn't even left the office where I mailed it.

Very typical!

By the way, if you just have a delivery confirmation, then their system will keep saying received on xx/xx/2010 and a little bit more info. Tomorrow or after you should see the status change on USPS.

We visited my country last year. Along with the itinerary and pics from the trip, we also submitted a copy immigration stamp on our passports and the main picture page. I don't think passport pages are required unlike AOS. So I think you are good.

That is correct. Passport photocopies are not required but you can submit pages, as mentioned in the quote, to provide international entry/exit stamps as support.

That's good to know. Thanks. Only wish I had known earlier because I REALLY freaked out when there were no updates especially since I used the Automated Postal Center and didn't talk to a person.
