My fiancee had got her K1 visa in the mail yesterday so now we are going to book a flight for her to move to the US. It is actually cheaper to buy a round trip ticket than a one way tickets so I would like to know if there will be any problems at the POE if she has a round trip ticket.

Has anybody else here entered the US on a K1 visa with a round trip ticket?

I read both one way or round ticket are ok.

My attorney says the same thing.

I put my congrats in your other thread but will here again

CONGRATULATIONS

Return or one-way. Many have entered with a return, many have not. Either way is good to go

Thanks everybody! I'll go ahead and purchase a round trip tickets so I can save about $1500.

Yep it can be a big difference. We were looking at the same situation when purchasing my ticket from Australia as the one-ways were way more expensive. In the end though Dan happened to get lucky and find a flight that saved us money with a return. You just have to scour the web sites. A return is great though if there is an emergency and she needs to travel back, hence get the return part dated as far away as possible so its not wasted if needed in the next year.

Congratulations!

Check Orbitz.com for one way tickets.

There shouldn't be any problems at the POE if your fiance has a round trip ticket. And, as Aussiewench suggested, that return date could be used after your fiance obtains AP.
