after much dedication and a sore thumb from pushing redial for the last hour,and then a strained neck from holding once I got through, I was able to talk to an NVC operator.... I offically have case#

I called the IRS a month ago and ordered my tax transcripts, they told me it would take 8-10 buisness days, I called them again last week to inquire about the whereabouts of them, and a guy told me to give it until the end of the month before I could request another set of them. I am not sure whats going on, I just recieved my tax return today... <not complaining about getting back the money> But arrrrrgh... the guy I spoke with told me that he could fax them to me.... was curious.. has anyone had them faxed to them and then sent that in with the AOS? good or bad idea?

I just got my NVC case number trough AVR!!!!!!

Calling them in 30 minutes to give our email addresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'm going to try and answer as much as I can.

7)Deep--Yup. Told ya. Don't stress about it. So it was a false RFE? Or do they want you to send in another AOS packet with the barcoded sheet on TOP this time?

I am Ok, when I called, as per operator, there is no RFE My AOS is accepted... One more thing nailed

Now, the last and hard part, receive all the papers from home and pass it to NVC.

I think and I have also read that I don't need any thing but.. passport office clearance certificate PPCC, local police clearance certificate PCC because she is getting new passport, hopefully, by end of this week or by end of next week.

Sachinky or anyone ... Do you have some other info? Please let me know about PPCC and PCC.

Mrs. Wife, the operator already had my email and telephone number I thought that I had to give it too them?? I asked her if I could give my Hubby's email and she said no, that I might be able to call back in a few days, lets see... she said a few days, and I am calling back in a few hours

That's weird!

They will open in a few minutes (7:30am), so I'm thinking about calling them and give the emails. You should try again with another operator just to see what they say.

Are you planing to send the DS3032 today or wait till you receive the email?

I heard some people send it before receiving the email and are fine.

Do you think we should go ahead and send it?

Deep--If your wife has a new passport, she will require only ONE PCC. I can't remember off the top off my head whether it's the local PS one or the RPO one.

Mrs.Wife and Melody--Congrats on getting your case numbers! Now wait 4-5 days for them to email you your AOS/DS3032 links. Make sure they have both correct emails on file. See if you can get the IIN out of them, if not just wait till the AOS fee link is mailed to you.

Currently the # of business days NVC is taking:

3-6 days for NVC to receive your case and assign a case #.

4-7 days to receive emailed links after giving your email address to an operator.

1-2 days for the AOS bill to show as PAID.

5-7 days for DS3032 to be accepted.

1-2 days for IV bill to be PAID.

7-9 days for case complete after all your documents have been sent in.

It's been a week now since I paid my AOS fee bill and still shows as not paid. Not once has it shown as In Process or any of the other stuff. The operator said I should give it 5 business days. I think I should pay it again. What do you all think?

Has it been debited from your bank account? Check that, first. If yes, call the operator again. If no, I don't see the harm in paying again.

Usually, it shows IN PROCESS for about a day and then shows as PAID.

Ok, so I just called NVC and gave them my email address and date of birth. She didn't ask my husbands though. I may ask him to call them later and make sure they have all his information as well.

I also asked my Invoice ID number and she said she can not give this information over the phone.

Ok then, let's hope to receive the emails soon!

you should receive at the end of the week dont worry for the IIN it cames with the AOS bill they both comes together one email for you and one for the beneficiary.. they CC each other
