Hi Family

Straight to the point married for 2 yrs received GC for 2 yrs...something Happen 2 weeks ago water damaged our Apt so we had to move some where else different Complex. My question is do I need to notify INS the new address or just do the foward thing and will b fine?

Definitely do NOT do the mail forwarding thing when it comes to the USCIS. I don't believe Government mail is forwarded. Do it via snail mail and online, and too, check to make sure that it was received and recorded.

01/09/12 - Petiton arrived us VSC.

11/15/12 - Wife Received ten year PR Card.

If your address changes, not matter how "slight", as in your case, by law you are required to change it with USCIS. (so is the sponsor)

You can do it online, whereas the sponsor has to send in a form.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
