Which One I will Follow

I got an e-mail from the US Embassy today that my schedule for the interview will be on January 24, but according to the letter I received from NVC my schedule is on January 25

If I will go to the Embassy on the date they gave me, will they accept the e-mail they sent me as proof that I have an schedule on that day?

I am hundreds of kilometers away in Riyadh and getting a flight booking is very hard when your date of departure is getting nearer.

I already purchased my ticket dated on January 25, but now I am having trouble of having it re-book.

Which one I will follow guys, the NVC appointment letter or the e-mail from the embassy?

I think you need to call the embassy and find out what's going on. Don't go by what we say here since this is a HUGE deal and should be dealt with by the embassy (or NVC) directly

I can't speak for that embassy,, But, the NVC normally schedules interviews for CR-1 and the embassy for the K-3 (If filed)...

Are they for different visas?

I called them but I don't find any reliable person to answer my inquiries.

Can you e-mail the embassy??? But if I had to make a judgment call (if you cannot get a hold of anyone) I would take the embassy's word since they are the ones doing the interviews... just my .02 cents

I e-mailed them too, my first e-mail took one week before I got reply from them.
