07-22-2009 NOA1 date

07-24-2009 check cleared

07-30-2009 NOA1 received via snail mail

10-14-2009 NOA2 (we were around #187 on Igor's List)

12-30-2009 Interview in Madrid!

02-01-2010 Visa in Hand - finally!

03-08-2010 POE Orlando, FL

That fee is for the K visas... Not the CR1 which is what the OP is applying for

to OP; as answered in your other posts, all fees are paid to NVC for CR1/IR visas, you have to pay the medical and any shipping/DHL costs... You might want to ask in the regional forum if there are any other fees for CR1/IR visas that are unique to the Consulate in Turkey...

My husband had his medical done at the American Hospital in Istanbul, Turkey and it cost 306 Turkish lira. That is about $200. We are doing DCF for the CR1 visa so we had to pay $355 when we sent in the I130 packet and an additional $400 at the Interview in Ankara.
