Can someone please tell me how to get an immigration document in english notarized in Brazil? We live in Espirito Santo.

There is no need to notarize any immigration documents. What makes you think you need to do so?

I dont think is necessary to notize any immigration documents or even translate them to english. Your birth certificate may be necessary to be in english when you process your AOS and whoever translate your BC will notirize it.. my fiancee is from ES and she used a service [sP?] and got very professional production. If this is what you are looking for, then let me know and it will provide name.

I am filing a g639 to find out her ban.The bottom of the form has to be notorized

The US Citizens Services unit at most US consulates will perform notary services of documents which are going to be submitted to the government. If nothing else, the consulate won't question it's own notary seal. Don't sign the document until you're in front of the consular officer, since the notary seal indicates they witnessed your signature.

I'd call the US consulate and see if they could do it for you. Maybe the one in RJ is the closest one for you?

Good luck!

Got it!!!

Notarization of documents is provided at the Embassy/Consulate in charge of your state of residence according to its jurisdiction. Please check the Contact Information and Working Hours page to find out the appropriate address and working hours.

Please check the fee list for the cost of authentication of local Notary Public or Public Sworn Translators signatures, as well as other notarial services performed under oath or affirmation. In cases of notarization of individual signatures, the documents must be signed in the presence of the consular officer.

The Embassy/Consulate can authenticate no school documents.

All fees must be paid in cash, either U.S. Dollars or Reais.
