I am excited. The nurse from the fertility clinic called and let us know we have enough sperm frozen so we can schedule a in-vitro fertilization cycle. One more stress removed with DH's very low sperm count. Now we just have to wait to save our money. Kind of like waiting for our removal of conditions. We need an educational reimbursement to come through for DH so we can have all the money in one shot that we need to pay. DH's boss keeps saying "it is in the works" but each paycheck is a disappointment with no extra lump sum of money. Waiting, waiting, waiting.

Good luck lilacvioletiris! Fingers crossed it happens for you soon.

I'm going to be 36 weeks in a couple days. This part of the pregnancy isn't much fun! I'm excited for her arrival. She's apparently going to be big... yikes... haha. How big were your babies at birth? I'm looking at a possible 9-10 pounds if I go to 40 weeks.

Alexis was 8lbs 8oz, if they are going by a recent ultrasound they are not very accurate at this stage can be 1-2 pounds off.

That's pretty big! Yeah, the doctor said 1 pound, so I'm trying not to worry much about it... I had to start seeing a perinatologist. I've had several ultrasounds and have another next week. They say she's in the 95 percentile as far as size. Depending on next weeks results I might need to have a bi-weekly ultrasounds to monitor. I have a small bone structure, and I'm only 5'3" so they're already talking c-section, which I am fighting hard! Hopefully she'll come early, that would help.

Ohhh congrats!! Love the name!

Thank you. She was 5 lbs, 8 oz at birth, born at 37 weeks 6 days on July 14, 2012.

She spent 12 days in the NICU for various minor issues, but is doing very well now.

Oh I'm sorry they are talking c-section already, some doctors really like to push c-sections. I hope everything goes the way you want, and if you really want to avoid a c-section I would really push why they want to do it. If it is just because your size and they think you can't have a big baby then I would keep pushing, but that is just me. You can always tell the doctor you want to try before you head in for a c-section they can still have everything set if it turns out you do need it. Since they sent you to a perinatologist is it that doctor or you regular Ob wanting the section?

Huggles, I will be praying that the baby stays at the perfect size to exit into the world without you going through a c-section. Exciting now for you as you are getting close to the finish line!
