All the CSC Approvals these past 2 days

Does anyone else think this really shows that it probably only takes an hour or so to go through a petition to approve or deny it?

I am sure that you are right. The output that we have seen in the past two days is more than we have seen in about 2 months.

Wouldn't people get notifications that they were transfered to VSC? Or do you think it'd be a covert op?

They should have if it was transfered, but who knows at this point It may however explain why we got a handful of touches in a row after they received our RFE.

I actually saw a post one time...months and months ago where someone stated a very specific time it took to process an application (minus any time it took for third party security checks) and they placed it around an hour and some change..which makes sense.

We should consider also that many if not most of these petitions in the post IMBRA piles may have been completed prior to the RFE being recieved....so its possible all they are doing is looking at the RFE, having to approve THAT, and then they are done....which could actually allow for a massive output simultaneously.

It is tricky though, because it makes one wonder why the process, BEFORE this mess, would take so long. CSC really must be under some pressure, and I would be anything but surprised to see them slow their guns after the IMBRA backlog is out..going back to their usual ways.

I read somewhere a while back that it only takes about 20 minutes for most straightforward cases. I cant remember where I saw it though. I am only worried that they go at warp speed and include ours so I can be with my baby.

I think there may be something to the complainers and constant callers at the bottom of the pile, I've been sitting waiting patiently thinking it'd be Sept or more likely October before I heard anything! Stressing over did I submit enough, too much or just right! Not phoning anyone and trying not to complain about the slowness of CSC...though I have complained a little about the fastness of VSC!

Also I think they had to take a few weeks to train the people that were handling the other documents (ones they are now transferring to NSC and TSC) to handle their new task, I-129Fs! Now these new guys are all trained and ready to crank them out!

And doing a fine job of it!

In all fairness, I was stunned when I received the email yesterday...thank goodness I am semi-prepared! Though my plans to visit Olga next year are now cancelled since she will HOPEFULLY be here by then!

I dont think CSC reads VJ...and not everyone who has been waiting 4 or more months has been emailing, calling, or otherwise personally contacting the service center, senators, or USCIS. Congrats on your early approval, but please dont bum out those who are getting f***ed.
