Greetings All.

For anyone that has experience with the K-1 and Costa Rica, these questions are for you:

1) Can anyone supply a copy of the packet 3 from the Costa Rica Consulate? Please provide information about which forms are needed (Especially whether they want tax returns, tax transcripts, w-2's or just recent pay stubs).

2) Vaccinations. I've read many differing answers in the forums abut whether or not the beneficiary needs to have up to date vaccinations. Some folks have said that they aren't needed until she arrives here in the US and applies for AOS, others have stated that the beneficiary needs to have vaccinations performed PRIOR to her interview.

3) Child. My fiancee has a 6 year old daughter that will be accompanying here here to the US. Does the daughter have to have a physical? Does the daughter attend the interview with her mom?

4) How long after the interview does it take for the Consulate to issue the visa?

5) Is the USC allowed to attend the interview? (I fully plan on being there, just wondering if they will admit me to the embassy while Vanessa is having her interview).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Have a great day!

Al

No one has any information regarding Costa Rica? Surely there has to be some folks who have experience with the Costa Rica Embassy and their requirements.

Thanks,

Al

Give it time. It sometimes takes a day or two for someone with the specialized information to sign on and respond.

btw - you can check your country's 'portal' to find others who have come from Costa Rica. Here is the direct link: http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.p...ntry=Costa+Rica

and through that link here is information about the Consulate that answers some of your questions: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...;cty=San%20Jose

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
