Actually I just checked the forecast on Weather.com a few minutes ago and it told me a high of 71!

You're right - not sure what I was looking at. I went for a walk the last couple days without a coat, kind of nice...how's the flood level in Alexandria? Has it drained a bit?

It's kind of funny that you should mention that. My mother called a couple of days ago inquiring about it too, saying that the flooding of the Potomac was on Canadian news etc. and wanted to make sure my wife and I were okay. Neither of us had even noticed (or heard about!) anything. We DID notice that the Holmes Run Creek, which our apartment overlooks, was flowing quite fast, with miniature "rapids" in one spot...but otherwise, we haven't observed any flooding. I guess we live far enough from the Potomac (we're in the Landmark neighborhood) that we're unaffected by it.

Awesome weather today!!! Excited to go for a run again when hubby gets back.

Wyatt, the waters here are very high too. FIL says he cant go fishing for a while til the water recedes!

It's supposed to be pretty weather in Kentucky today. I just hope the weather man didn't do his coin flip thing again.

Only 5 more days to go before our interview. I officially feel like tossing my cookies every 8 minutes or so. Of course Mathew is all relaxed and calm, but nope, not me. I'm the chick that spends most of the day trying not to freak out.

With all the snow and stuff we've had here 68 is like a godsend.

Just checked with weather.com. Our weather man must have not flipped his coin because it's supposed to be 67. Wheeeee

I woke up to a note from my MIL saying that someone left the fridge open a smidge all night, and when she woke up the temperature inside was 67.

I'm waiting on my coffee and the sanity that follows before I begin to decipher what must now be thrown away.

Off to SASKATOON from Tuesday march 23-31. Shall get my fill of tim hortons!! Not a total relax trip as my father is going in for heart stent placement, which is 99% a very easy procedure. But after his 3 bypasses, its not quite as risk free for him as it is for others, but sure it will go well! I managed to not too bad of a deal on a plane ticket! I bought it within a week of flying, so one cant expect the normal 400-500 range from DC. Ticket came in at $800. Fly from DC to Montreal to Ottawa then Stoon! I had making that many stops, but was by far the best price and a lot of time in between flights. Sucks that I have to fly Air Canada! I try to fly Northwestern, but since they merged with Delta, have found their prices have gone up! Already exercising my thumbs for Roll up the rim to win!!

My sisters are RN's as well---every Nurses nightmare,lol but were mellow people and know better to be pain in the butts, lol But that sure isnt the case for many. I hate pts that have family/friends that are in the medical profession, all of a sudden they know everything, but some wont help out at all! oh well,lol
