Here are the 2009 Poverty Guidelines: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

For a household of 2 the 125% number is $18,212.

The 2010 guidelines will likely be issued in February.

am i gonna be affected with 2010 poverty line ? thanks

That would depend on when the interview takes place.

Also, what is looked at is current and continuing income. If your current annualized income meets the required amount. Will you be earning at least that amount in 2010?

Do you have a job offer or contract? Ask your potential employer to give you a written copy of the offer and include it with your I-134.

Some employers may not feel comfortable writing a letter to USCIS/US consulate on your behalf. You can ask them to address the letter to you. Make sure it includes the amount of your salary.
