Hi guys,

We got our K-1 visa recently and we're getting married in a few weeks.

After this, we'll apply for Adjustment of Status and work and travel documents.

However, we're planning two wedding celebrations in Europe this coming summer (one in each country, as I am originally from Bulgaria and she is from Finland). Celebration 1 is in June, celebration 2 in July, and the wife's brother is getting married in end of August (obviously important to be there).

Question is:

Is it OK to be out of the country for 3 months or so, if we are to plan staying in Europe uninterruptedly for all 3 weddings/celebrations?

Or is there a restriction on how long one can be out of the country on an Advance Parole travel document?

Answers are much appreciated.

Best regards,

Manol

Three months shouldn't be an issue - just be sure you guys plan to be available for things like the biometrics appointment, any RFE that may come up and of course, there is the possibility of an interview. (The amount of time - 90 days or so - by itself shouldn't be an issue and since you're talking June/July/Aug, maybe you'll have the PR/Green Card by then.)
