I'm glad everyone thinks that the comment made before is hysterical. Like I said, make fun of me, make fun of anything else. But innuendos about my fiancee getting raped or murdered is sick. I'm glad you all got a good laugh. I'm really surprised at some of you. So later, I'm out. I'm not sticking around if this is what is considered funny. Laugh it up, I hope it was good at the expense of our friendship.

Chris, I just re-read that whole bit trying to catch up. I don't think ANYONE was laughing at you or Zhanna or any implication of something happening to her. It appears Niels said something dumb and other comments were made and there was a misunderstanding. I actually read it as Niels saying he was worried to let his wife out alone, not that it was being directed at you.

I'm fairly certain no one on here would ever joke about our SO's being hurt. ESPECIALLY right before they get on a plane to come here, but not at any other time either.

I think if you re-read it you'll realize no one else (save perhaps Niels) was directing any mirth towards you or your fiancee. In fact, we all wish her well and hope you have a great time with her.

Sorry, I needed to step away from the computer for a bit. I got a bit twisted there and took things out of context.

I have a HUGE fear of flying, I'm the guy on the plane that will grab a complete strangers leg if there is a patch of turbulence. Every time I fly I heavily sedate myself to the point of incoherence. So, the thought of Zhanna flying doesn't really sit well for me. I have an unhealthy fear of ppl that I love getting hurt or killed to begin with to the point it is probably a psychological disorder (seriously). I have been this way ever since I was a child. Ask my family, they will all tell you this. So, I took Niels comment a bit to heart. I worry about Zhanna flying and traveling in Russia. Russia is not the friendliest of places and if I could afford it I would have accompanied her, so there is a bit of guilt on my shoulders too. It's not that I think she is meek or helpless, I grew up and lived/worked in/around NYC and have seen some pretty tough streetwise ppl get fvcked up and not know it was coming. this world can be a unforgiving place, and I know that predators and crazy ppl like to hangout in airports, bus terminals, train stations. I'm a worrier for sure and her travel has personified that for me. I get like this every time she flies.Also this is the end of our separation and though I have been mostly quiet I have had a lot of difficulties being alone. I recently relocated here and really have no friends and the ppl I have met here are not ppl I can really jive with. I've been somewhat of a recluse and have hit Howard Hughes status (minus hording my piss and fingernail clippings) for the past several months and you guys have been pretty much my friends an support group and for that I thank you. I know some ppl have it way worse then me here so I usually keep my mouth shut because I don't want to offend others with my problems.

The comments that followed seemed at the time like this was a big joke on me. I felt like I was the butt of some joke and made Niels "greatest hits list" I know now that was not the case. I have a pretty full plate right now, some of the things I share with you guys here but the majority I just don't share with anyone, anywhere.

I'm pretty thick skinned unless you say racist stuff or stuff about family or friends. That's where I can be had and will most likely loose my cool. I can take the verbal punches with the best of them and offer them back but tonight I was a little more tender then normal. I also have the tendency to shoot of at the mouth and say dumb stuff when I get upset, I felt it coming on so I had to walk away.

I'm not mad or upset at anyone here. And I hope none is upset with me.

Niels, please for the future use your better judgment when saying stuff like that plz. I'm not asking you to walk on eggshells around me but have a little consideration and common sense that comments like the one you made can upset someone, especially right after they tell you a loved one is flying/ traveling by themselves. That's all I ask. besides that feel free to say almost anything else to me, call me a #####, **, mamas boy. I can take that kinda stuff.

I definitely earned my wrinkles tonight. I hope we can forget about this and move forward. Again, sorry I lost my cool.
