please define superpower. i certainly don't rate israel as one.

Have you counted them? Even if they were 500,000, that is still a very small percentage.

Yes...the president of Iran (Amacockaminijad?) does only speak for himself when he vows to destroy Israel. All of those cheering on-lookers that you see are coreographed actors that respond to the big APPLAUSE sign someone holds up to make it look like he has popular support. It ain't real.

C'mon...everyone knows there are not 500K supporters of the pres. Proof? Next time you see one of his rallies where it "looks" like there are 500K supporters just notice that the film crew only films the crowd close from the front. When they pan out look real close and you'll notice that everyone in the distance is ACTUALLY just a cardboard cutout made to look like a supporter. Again, it's all a stage and it ain't real.

"Just about" is also an incorrect statment. Terrorists DO NOT represent the arab world and they are also a very small percentage of the arab world. Most arabs/muslims are peaceful law obiding citizens. I take great offense to your comments and you obviously know NOTHING of the arab world, you can only "generalize" based off of what you see from the media.
Generalizing is just another form of racism.

The bottom line is - I don't know every arab in the world, so I can't say that just based on the fact that they're arabs, they hate Israel. HOWEVER - likewise, YOU don't know every arab in the world, so I'm not sure how YOU can claim that the majority are peaceful.

Therefore, all we have to go on are actions. And what do those tell us? That arabs hate Israel and pretty much anyone else who isn't muslim.

Lets face it just about every Arab and Muslim would love to see that State of Israel bombed into oblivion.

I think there are diplomatic ways that it could be resolved. I think there was mistakes made on both sides. The only way for Israel to be sure that Hezbollah is not ever going ot be a military threat is to destroy the entire country and its people because there is no way for them to be able to know who is what. Is that logical?

Without Lebanon having a strong enough government, Hezbollah will continue it's terrorism. How can Lebanon's government be strengthened so that it can prevent groups such Hezbollah? Especially when Hezbollah is getting support from Syria and Iran. It's a terrible situation but I'm not sure there is any viable option Israel has except to dismantle Hezbollah or leave themselves vulnerable to random attacks.

Dismantling Hezbollah does not equal the end of terrorist attacks. This war is creating more hatred and more terrorism.
