What do you mean by comfort zone?

best to give you an example:

skiing down a bigger mountain than ever before would take you out of your comfort zone....

for some pornstars, the first time they do 5 guys at once, may have taken her out of their comfort zone.. (hehe)

for some people, giving a speech to a bunch of strangers takes them out of their comfort zone....

so i guess, anything that is exciting or makes you nervous?

Great examples. :jest:

I get out of my comfort zone in the middle of a cold dark night when I have to pee. Then I return to my comfort zone.

Great topic...

For me it was being rerouted to Glasgow, Scotland for 7 hours, while on my way to Holland because of a hurricane in the USA.

Sitting in the airport, not knowing anyone, being told I am hard to understand with my American accent...AND MOSTLY trying to figure out the denominations on the pound sterling coins! I finally gave up at a little store in the airport...putting all the coins on the counter and asking the clerk to just take what he needs for what I was buying!

"If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space." (a favourite quote)

The way I live, I am so always beyond my edge, that I now believe I can walk on water AND fly!!!!

Ha!

Bring it on, baby.

I just tore myself out/away from an almost 3 month inquiry into the human spirit at a yoga centre.

Every day was like entering new territory.

OP: How do you live out of your comfort zone?
